Who we are
We’re rooted in the Upper Midwest, where fields meet woods and the workday runs on weather. We make portraits of the animals that shape this place—farm animals that feed us and wild ones that watch from the hedgerow. These aren’t mascots or props; they’re co-workers and wild neighbors with their own quiet dramas. We want people—especially kids—to really see them: what curiosity looks like in a cow’s eyes, how a rooster stands guard, why a doe pauses before the leap. When we slow down long enough to notice, we learn respect—for the land, the farms, and the living community around us. The photographs are made with archival inks on museum-grade paper, signed in studio, and prepared to live on your wall for decades—daily reminders that the Midwest is more than a map; it’s a shared life.
